The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian
Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010
Like most teenagers his age, Junior doesn’t really fit in. But then again what guy with ten extra teeth, Coke bottle glasses, an L-shaped body, and a flair for drawing cartoons even stands a chance? But Junior isn’t one to wait around for chances, he’s more of the type to make it happen. Even if making it happen means he will be viewed as a traitor by most of his friends and their families for trying to improve his life by going to a nearby all-white school off of the reservation where he sometimes has to hitchhike or walk 20 miles. Yes, that’s right, an all-white school where the only other Indian is a mascot. So follow suit and take a hilarious adventure out of the ordinary, complete with the cartoons of Junior himself, and follow Junior on a heroic journey where most others would never dare to venture.
