Laptops for checkout for use in the library are now available at the Sweetwater County Library in Green River.

The internet connections at Rock Springs Library seem to be functioning fine since the replacement of the DSL modem. A few power glitches knocked it down during some lightning storms in the past week, but the modems reconnected just fine. A battery backup system will be installed on the networking equipment in the near future to prevent further damage.

Recently, Rock Springs Library has been experiencing internet connection problems on our patron network. When we think the issue is resolved, days later the problem reappears. Our internet connections run on Qwest DSL. Our staff internet connection has been functioning well, but the patron DSL connection has dropped at random times. The modem has been replaced, and we hope this resolves the issue.
