Rock Springs Library has new laptops for checkout within the library. The previous laptops were replaced with Lenovo 3000 N200′s. Currently, there are 5 available. In the near future, the older laptops will return as secondary computers, bringing the total to 9.

Laptops for check-out in the library are now available at White Mountain Library. There are currently two laptops located at the Reference Desk. They will be used for overflow when the reference computers are full or if a patron requests them. More laptops may be ordered in the future.

Here is a brief update on the status of the fiber optic project:

RSL: Electrical box installed on the outside of building.
WML: Conduit has been ran to the building from the street. Electrical box installed.
SCL: Multimode fiber has been replaced with single mode. Term-shelf installed inside.

Equipment will be ordered in November, and we expect connection in December.
