Ah, yes. Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder. The first thing that came to my mind was the last time I made my boys deep-clean their room.
This sculpture also brought to mind the book “Fahrenheit 451″ by Ray Bradbury. Hopefully we never again see the day of mass censorship and book banning that took place in the early 20th century under the Wilson administration.
I thought of all the books I have waiting for me to read. I also wondered what happens in the wind, guess that is a hazard of the area we live in.
I love to see all the innovative library sculptures, one of my favorites is in the Salt Lake City Library. Another is in the Farming Public Library. Of course, we are lucky to have our reader’s bench in Green River.
Leander, have you signed up for the Adult Summer Reading Program? I think we keep missing you!
