MAKE A SPLASH ON WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS

Wonderful Wednesday programs at the Rock Springs Library are for elementary school age kids beginning June 9th  through August 4th at 10 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. concluding with  a  library picnic on Wednesday August 11th.  Youth Services librarians will read aloud,  host special guests, provide activities and help each child complete a craft.

MAKE A SPLASH AT SUMMER STORY TIME 2010!

WATER WATER EVERYWHERE!

The Youth Services Librarians at the Rock Springs Library will offer story times on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.  &  1:00 p.m. for preschool children ages 3 – 6.

Story time is approximately one hour. Librarians will read a number of books aloud, encourage the children to join in activities, and help them complete a craft.

Summer story times begin Tuesday, June 15th and continue on Tuesdays through August 3rd.

SUMMER FUN FOR CHILDREN!

Story times for children ages 3-6 will be held on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. Librarians will provide read alouds, activities, and a craft. These sessions run approximately one hour beginning June 15 through August 3, 2010.

Wonderful Wednesdays will include programs for Elementary School age children at 10 a.m. & 1:00 p.m.  Join the Youth Services librarians in an hour of read alouds, special guests, activities, and  crafts  beginning June 9 and concluding with a picnic on Wednesday August 11, 2010. 

Join us for more Wednesday fun at 3:00 p.m. for a childrens’ movie complete with popcorn!

For information regarding the Summer Reading Program for children  please contact the Youth Services Department at the RS Library.  These  reading programs provide the opportunity to win an array of prizes from bicycles to a laptop computer and much more!

Dallas the Dog

Children can read to Dallas the reading education assitance dog at the RS library on Tuesdays from 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Dallas listens to each child read for ten minutes. Participants can enter to win in a monthly drawing for a new book.

ChillOut and Read Winter Reading Program

The Youth Services Dept. at the RS Library is hosting a winter reading program for children. Participants choose a number of books to read on their level from now until March 27, 2010. Readers receive a prize upon reaching the midpoint of their goal. At completion, readers enter to win a laptop computer and other prizes. Reading logs are available in the YS dept. at the RS Library.
