Potato Book Character Contest: Turn in February 1 - 8, Vote February 10 - 15: It's Tater Time! Visit the library and pick up a potato to dress up like a book character beginning on February 1. Enter your Book Character Potato to win! Everyone will get a potato themed item just for entering and you could win Chamber Bucks!
Reading Dragons Reading Program: New shiny cards just for February! Plus: find the hidden dragons to collect a take home kit and transform your cards. For youth in K - 12th grade.
Love the Library Side Quest: Complete a quest and collect a prize. Tell us all about why you love the library! For all ages.
StoryWalk®: The World Needs More Purple People: Are you a purple person? Take a walk outside and enjoy a story. It's a fun and educational family activity that you can enjoy in the fresh Wyoming air! Located on the Barbara Carroll Memorial Pathway at the Green River Recreation Center.
Teen Trivia: Every time you visit the library try out teen bubble machine for your chance to be a winner. Exciting new trivia every month!
Month Long Drop in Events at the Rock Springs Library: February 1 - 28
Coloring Contest: Unleash your inner artist and help us decorate our very brown walls! Complete a coloring page and turn it in to brighten up our space and possibly win a prize!
Read Your Height: School is back in session, and that means one thing - Read Your Height is back! The librarians at RSL are racing against the school year to read their height in book spines. Will you join them? You can grab a reading log any time the library is open from now until the end of school.
Downtown Snowman Scavenger Hunt: January 18 - February 28: The Snowmen are back - can you find them all? Scavenger Hunt sheets are available at the Rock Springs Library, bring it back for a small prize and an entry into a large prize drawing!​
Quest: There are side quests at the library just waiting for you to take them. Choose your quest at the Youth Desk to try and win (you'll always win) a prize.
Candy Guess: How many candy kisses are in the container? Enter a guess every time you visit the library from February 1 to 13. Closest guess wins the whole thing!
Stuffed Animal Sleepover: We're gearing up for March of the Penguins, would your stuffies like to help? Bring your favorite friend (who won't miss you too much) to the library for a night of fun, stories, snacks and more! You can pick your friend back up on March 1st along with a souvenir of their night. Animals can be dropped off any time the library is open between February 24 and 28.
What Pie Am I?: Happy Pie Month! Every day in February, we'll give you a list of ingredients, you'll guess the pie!
